Prince Harry’s life has been as dramatic as an episode of the Real Housewives franchise over the past few years — yet now it has resurfaced that he once dated an ex-cast member.
Catherine Ommanney, who once featured on The Real Housewives of DC, appears to be so small-fry that she doesn’t even justify a Wikipedia page. In fact, when Cockburn was searching her name, a he noticed she periodically flashes up from time to time to rehash the sordid details about her fling with the prince. Maybe that’s his type: a woman that can’t keep schtum.
The reality TV “star” — and Cockburn uses that term loosely — has spoken “exclusively” to Britain’s Sun newspaper about her month-long fling with Prince Harry when he was just twenty-one and she was a thirty-four-year-old mother of two. She claimed she had the “time of my life” in 2006 with the prince — who gave her the “most passionate kiss I’ve ever had.” Bleurgh.
Catherine was separated from her ex-husband Stephen when she and Harry met at the Art Bar in Chelsea, London. She added that he had a habit of sucking on lollipops, which led to her nicknaming him “Baby.” Nothing creepy about that at all, Catherine!
The ex-housewife has decided to rehash the whole thing after she learned that Harry was writing about his ex-girlfriends in his new memoir, Spare. She told The Sun on Sunday: “I doubt I will be in Harry’s book as a prince can’t run off with a thirty-four-year-old mother-of-two, it’s just not the done thing.”
Tragically, it wasn’t meant to be for the pair. The romance was dealt a blow when news of the relationship broke. It probably didn’t help that Prince Harry was still in an off-again-on-again relationship with ex Chelsy Davy.
Catherine recounted that after two more dates, Harry changed his number and she wasn’t to see him again until 2009, when they bumped into each other at a polo match in Barbados. Sometimes fate has other ideas for us — but at least now we can see why. Harry has found his gracious better half. Oh wait…
